NOTICE!!

  Dear Website visitors and friends;
As of 1/26/2012 the Bloomfield website will no longer be syndicating stories from the Greene County Daily World, after 4 years of allowing the Bloomfield website to publish excerpts of stories from their website they have decided that with the launch of their digital newspaper that we are no longer allowed to add this content/excerpts.

  Their solution to this was to allow us to only post the first few lines of “dedicated” stories that they feel will not lose them subscribers.
The Bloomfield website and its administrators have always made every effort to maintain proper credit for the excerpts of full stories from the Greene County Daily World website, including but not limited to credit to the authors/reporters with direct links to the full articles on their website. We have never used a story that was published in their printed version only the stories available on their website.

  The Bloomfield website will still be bringing you the local news in and around the Bloomfield area, but we will no longer post stories from the Greene County Daily World. We will be providing local news stories that are important to all of us.
