I live in Bloomfield and grew up here. There's no denying its best town in Indiana and there is no place i would rather live and be raised!

First time reading website and noticed comment from Patricia A Warta on Nov 05 made about living in dance studio. My dad built that while we lived in the house from 1946 until early 60's. Address was 242 E Main Street. Great website

My Dad lived in Bloomfield the last I heard from him, we have lost touch since then. Time just slips away you know, I don't even know if he is still there but I would really like to find out so maybe we could get in contact with each other again. It has been about 15 years when I last talked to him on the phone. I now live in Florida. I always loved Bloomfield, most of my relation all lived in and around Newberry and the Elnora area. Love your website. If you would have any suggestions on how I might check on my Dads whereabouts It woud be appreciated. his name is Paul alexander Wheeler he has lived in that area all his life. My grandfather used to own the auto junkyard just east of town. The people of Bloomfield were always the best, (especially around time for the school fireworks and fish fry's!)

Went to Bloomfield School in the 4th grade. 5th grade at Owensburg, 6th at Solsberry then to Eastern where I graduated in 1967. My sister Tammy Vest lives in Bloomfield.

My sisters and brothers and I grew up in Bloomfield Ind in the mid 60's. My grandmother also lived there too. I would like to come back and visit and see how much it has changed. I probably wont be able to remember or recognize Bloomfield now. We lived on Main Street back in the 60's in a dance studio and my grandmother lived in an apartment close by, I don't remember the address but the local paper did a story on us and I was wondering if I could get into the newspaper archives and obtain a copy. Thank you
